Velociraptor Excavation Map

Jurassic Park III — Three-Dimensional Art Display

Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie Sattler have continued their paleontological careers on separate paths. While Ellie has settled into family life, Grant advances his field research alongside his ambitious protégé, Billy Brennan. At Fort Peck Lake, Montana, Billy makes several notable discoveries involving Velociraptors—including the study of the creature’s resonating chamber, believed to have functioned as a specialized vocal or communication organ.

In Jurassic Park III, Billy is seen meticulously brushing sediment from a Velociraptor skeleton at the dig site. Fossil excavation is a delicate and demanding process—over millions of years, original bone calcium is gradually replaced by minerals, requiring extraordinary patience, precision, and expertise to uncover and preserve each specimen.

Elite Creature Collectibles proudly presents the Velociraptor Excavation Map, a striking three-dimensional art display inspired by this memorable scene. The piece captures a Velociraptor fossil embedded within textured rock, complete with sculpted excavation tools that evoke the authenticity of a working dig site.

Numbered markings identify the corresponding placement of each bone within the skeleton—adding both scientific intrigue and educational value to this visually compelling presentation. Designed for Jurassic Park enthusiasts and serious collectors alike, this display blends cinematic nostalgia with paleontological artistry.
